Abstract: This provides instructions to authors for completing the final manuscripts which will be included in the CD-ROM Proceedings. You must prepare a pdf (version 1.5[Actobat 5.0]) file of the manuscript of your paper and send it electronically using the web-based system which will become active at the beginning of May, 2005. Please keep in mind that the manuscript sent will be included in the Proceedings as it is received. The authors are therefore kindly requested to observe the following instructions for the preparation of their manuscripts. The abstract for printing Abstracts Proceedings should be also sent electronically. (Justified, 10 pt)

1. Length and Typing

The size of the manuscript must be A4 and it should be typed in two columns with single spacing. The number of pages allowed is between 4 and 6 pages without extra chage. The maximum paper length is 8 pages with extra paper charge of 10,000 Japanese Yen/page. The size of pdf file to be sent electronically should not exceed one megabyte (1 MB), regardless of the number of pages. The pdf file should be in version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.0) format and include just 8-bit English character code, should not include 16-bit character code of any language. If you can't remove 16-bit code, we hope you to embed the font into your PDF file. A pdf file that includes 16-bit code is not included in the proceeding CD-ROM, but will be accepted in spite of the warning message by the paper submission web system.Version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.0) pdf file is requested because Mac O.S. 9.x user can't read Acrobat 6.0 pdf file.

  • The width of each column should be 8.5 cm.
  • The distance between the two columns of text should be 1.0 cm.
  • A LaTeX style file, a TeX sample file and a MS-Word sample file are available.

2. First Page

The title should be centered across the top of the first page and should be in a distinctive font or in capitals. The authors' names and addresses should be centered below the title.
The abstract and the main body follow as indicated on this document. The abstract, which is less than 60 words, should give a brief account of the most relevant aspects of the paper. The main body should start with an Introduction that includes a statement of the purpose and the contribution of the paper.
