Social Tour to Nara

A full day sightseeing tour on Tuesday, August 6 will include a visit to Horyuji Buddhist Temple and Asuka Village in Nara, the oldest capital city in Japan.

In the morning you will visit Horyuji Buddhist Temple which is a World Heritage and the oldest wooden architecture in the world, built in the seventh century. After having lunch near Horyuji Buddhist Temple, you will proceed to Asuka Village in the countryside and visit the Ishibutai Tomb which is a national monument, Asuka Buddhist Temple which is the oldest Buddhist Temple in Japan, and Man'yo Culture Museum of Nara Prefecture.

The participants are requested to assemble at 8:50 a.m. at the entrance of Osaka International Convention Center (OICC). The tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. The cost is 4,000 Yen including lunch, and the number of participants on the tour will be limited to 30. Special dietary requirement should be indicated in the registration form, and it is your responsibility to identify yourself to the catering staff.


Technical Tour in Osaka

A full day tour on Tuesday, August 6 will include a visit to Mint Museum of the Ministry of Finance, the Hall of Science and Technology, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. and Suita Brewery, Asahi Breweries, Ltd.

On the way you will enjoy the view of Osaka City on the bus, including the Nakanoshima central area and the Osaka Castle. In the morning you will visit the Mint Museum. Western style buffet lunch will be served at Moriguchi Prince Hotel. In the afternoon the Matsushita Group's newest technologies and products will be demonstrated at the Hall of Science and Technology. Then you will visit Asahi Suita Brewery to see the brewing process and the museum of its history. "Please enjoy tasting Asahi Beer!"
