The participants of the thirtyseventh SICE Annual Conference(SICE '98) which will be held at Oversea Vocational Training Association (OVTA, 1-1 Hibino, Mihama-ku, Chiba, Japan) on July 29-31 should make a hotel reservation for oneself. There are the following three methods:

OVTA accommodation
Convention rates
Ordinary reservation,

which we explain in order.

1. OVTA accommodation

A block of room in OVTA has been reserved for the participants and their families. Please read the following conditions below very carefully. Applicants fill out OVTA Accommodation Form and return it to:

by air mail or by fax. (Please note that you can not make a reservation by applying to OVTA.) Applications will be accepted on the first-come-first-serve basis and Confirmation Form will be sent by E-mail or by fax.

The deadline to apply is June 15, 1998. Even before the deadline, if once full capacity is reached, applications will not be accepted.

Conditions:

All rooms are single. Each applicant needs the OVTA Accommodation form.
The room charge with breakfast is

Main Building: 6,300Yen
Annex: 5,800Yen.

Tax and handling fees are included. Applicants' choice will be accepted on the first-come-first-serve basis. If your choice can not be accepted because of the capacity, we will inform you.
Only those who apply accommodations can also apply lunch (890Yen; tax and handling fees are included) and dinner (1,660Yen; tax and handling fees are included).
Room charge payment must be made by a credit card in advance.
The extra charge of your room (e.g., telephone fees) must be paid to OVTA in Japanese Yen at check-out.
Cancellation can not be accepted.

2. Convention rates

The following is information regarding hotel accommodations for the participants of SICE '98. Special rates have been offered by the hotels listed below for the participants from July 28 to July 31, 1998 (four days). As the rates have been significantly discounted for the participants, please read the conditions below very carefully and apply by fax.

Conditions:

Please note the hotel of your choice on your application. The SICE '98 Secretariat and the steering committee do not deal with the hotel accommodations. Call the contact person at each respective hotel for more details.
The rates listed below are only available for a limited number of participants for the duration of the conference. Please apply using the attached hotel reservation form (it differs from OVTA Accommodation Form). The rates include tax and service charges.
Each individual is responsible for paying all charges at check-out.
Please fill out every line of the form completely.
The deadline to apply is the last day of June, 1998. After that time, the rooms will become available to other customers. Once full capacity is reached, you will not be able to make reservations so it is advised to send in your application as soon as possible.
Confirmation will be sent by fax from the hotel. Cancellation fees should be dealt with according to the stipulations outlined by each hotel.

3. Ordinary reservation

SICE '98 will be hold in the tourist season. We recommend you to make reservations as soon as possible.
