Instruction for Presenters and Chairs

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL SESSION PRESENTERS

  1. All session rooms are equipped with LCD projector. Please bring and use your own Laptop PC.
  2. Please appear at the Session room at least 10 minutes before the session starts. And check the connection of your PC with the equipped projector.
  3. The allocated time for each presentation is 20 minutes including 5 minutes questions and discussions.
  4. AC voltage is 100V/60Hz in Fukuoka. The connector from the LCD projector to your computer is limited to a D-sub 15 pin male connection.
  5. If you need any assistance, please contact the staff assigned to each room.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTERACTIVE SESSION PRESENTERS

  1. The interactive sessions will be held in the 5th floor Gallery, 13:15--15:15 in August 19--21.
  2. Please bring a printed poster. On site demonstration can be allowed if requested in advance.
  3. For every presentation, a workplace (a 2100mm high x 900mm wide poster display board) will be provided.
  4. The title and authors should be included on the top of your poster.
  5. The authors are requested to be in the vicinity of the poster during the session time, and are allowed to put their posters any time after 10:00. If the authors wish to keep their posters, please remove them from the boards before 16:30.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SESSION CHAIRS

  1. At the registration desk, please pick up the Check List for Session Chairs.
  2. Please appear at the session room at least 10 minutes before the session starts.
  3. Please confirm all presenters are in the session room.
  4. The allocated time for each talk is 20 minutes including 5 minutes discussions. Please indicate the elapsed time to the speaker appropriately and be punctual to the session schedule.
  5. In case of no-show, do not move to the next presentation, because the session should be synchronized with all the presentations at other sessions.
  6. A staff is assigned to each session room to assist with equipments and lighting.
  7. After the session, please return the fulfilled Check List back to the Registration Desk. (Important!)

Cancellation or Alternative Speaker/Chair Assignment
